José Manuel Félix Mourinho (born 17 June 1938 in Ferragudo) is a Portuguese ex-professional footballer and the father of football coach José Mourinho.

Mourinho was a goalkeeper for the Portuguese teams C.F. Os Belenenses and Vitória Setúbal. He represented Portugal on one occasion and was later a first division coach with Rio Ave F.C..
Mourinho married Maria Júlia Carrajola dos Santos, born in 1939, a teacher, and had two children, Teresa, born in 1960, and José Mário, born on 26 January 1963.[1]
